Pasta Primavera... with a sprinkling of bacon

 
 
The Recipe:
  • Red pepper
  • Broccoli crown
  • 5 slices of bacon cooked
  • Fresh parmesan
  • Essentials
  1. Start off by sautéing you're chopped red pepper (I cut them in small cubes, leaving out all the seeds) with 2tbls olive oil and 2tbls butter and 4 minced garlic cloves
  2. Separately steam your broccoli crown for about 5mins and cut up when cooked and add to red pepper
  3. Cook pasta (I use angel hair), once cook add 2tbls butter and 2tbls olive oil right to the pasta then combine with red pepper broccoli mixture
  4. Season pasta with salt, pepper, and some extra garlic powder, then sprinkle with grated parmesan and crumbled bacon (I usually cook my bacon first)

*This dish goes great with garlic bread and wine, but then again what doesn't...*
